The 2026 iMAGINE Upstate STEAM Festival will be held on April 4, 2026 from 11:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
The Festival is located in the Heart of Downtown Greenville beginning at the intersection of Court Street and South Main Street and continues along Main Street to the intersection of River and Augusta Street.
This event is free and open to the public!
There are no pets permitted in the festival area. (Service animals are always welcome.)
Parking can be found in nearby garages (River St, Riverplace, Poinsett, and Broad Street parking garages are closest). Visit the Parking & Directions page for more information.
At the iMAGINE Upstate STEAM Festival, children and families will have the opportunity to engage in a wide variety of hands-on activities celebrating the dynamic core concepts of STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics). Upstate educational institutions, businesses, and community organizations will come together to host these exhibits to bring STEAM education alive for a day of fun-filled learning! Be sure to check out this years' 'must-see' exhibits from SEW-EURODRIVE, FOX Carolina, BASF, Greenville Technical College, Dodge Industrial, Kyocera-AVX, NCEES and more!

iMAGINE Upstate is a rain or shine event! In the event of inclement weather that will not permit the festival to take place, any cancellation information will be made available on our social media accounts in an expedient manner!
The lost and found will be located at City Hall (206 S. Main Street). Found items can also be given to any event staff to drop off at the lost and found.
Facilities are located throughout the festival site. Public restrooms are located in front of the Courtyard by Marriott Hotel, near Spill the Beans, and at the One City Plaza (all just a short walk from the festival site). Port-o-lets and hand washing stations will also be located across from Falls Park.
